Valentine’s Day is just around the corner…and you know what that means! Good food, candy, baked goods and of course chocolate! Now, rather than buying your special someone a box of cheap chocolates I have a proposition in mind. Why not give them some super-high quality, vegan superfood chocolates made with organic, raw ingredients? Sure they won’t be as cheap as the store-bought options, but whoever you give them as a gift to will be able to tell the difference right away! I am so thankful to Righteously Raw for reaching out and sending me such a wide variety of their chocolates to try out! Find out what I thought about their bars and other products, and which ones I highly recommend for you to try for yourself. Plus, keep reading to find out how you can get 15% OFF your next order! NibMor Dark Chocolate
Happy New Year! Since the holidays have officially come to an end, I’m thinking of ways to ease into the New Year and incorporate my favorite treats in a less-indulgent way. Cookies, pies, candy, and cakes are fun, but they aren’t always the best way to kick off your New Year’s Resolutions. I personally love a good piece of high-quality dark chocolate as a guilt-free dessert, which is where this review comes in. Nibmor was so generous to send me a few of their best-selling chocolate bars. I was so excited to try them that I ended up purchasing a few of their other bars to make this a complete review! White & Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is one of those fun types of cookies that I see all the time online or pre-packaged in stores. Unfortunately they are rarely ever vegan, which is a huge bummer. However, one thing that I have learned about being vegan is that if you can’t find a vegan version, you can always make one yourself. These cookies taste way better than any store-bought cookie that I have ever tried, and they have way fewer ingredients as an added bonus! Continue reading
Chai Spice Snickerdoodles
Lastly, as part of my “end of the year” cookie roundup, these Chai Spice Snickerdoodles! I literally can’t remember when I last had a snickerdoodle. I mean, it probably wasn’t that long ago but that doesn’t mean I was looking forward to trying these cookies any less. I know a ton of people have tried this exact cookie recipe before and they loved it, but probably not as much as me. I’m not kidding, my mom says it’s one of her new favorite cookies that I’ve made. Continue reading
Butterscotch Chip Cookies
When was the last time you had butterscotch cookies? What about vegan ones? Regardless of your answer, these vegan butterscotch chip cookies are so delightful that you’ll want to make them just in time for Christmas! These would make a fantastic dessert to bring to your holiday cookie swap, but you can always leave them out for Santa with a glass of almond milk. Or, if Christmas flies by and you still haven’t made these, they are a great treat for any New Years celebration as well. Continue reading
Vanilla, Matcha & Coconut Macaroons
I made these Vanilla, Matcha & Coconut Macaroons for another recipe using my Kiss Me Organics Matcha Powder which came out even better than I expected! This is also a no-bake and technically raw recipe, full of natural sweeteners, and nut-free (as long as you can still have coconut). The macaroons (or you can call them truffles) have a pleasant and sweet green tea flavor with shredded coconut and just a hint of vanilla. Continue reading
